Generate UML diagrams and class daigrams by importing my pro

Hi i have a C++ project code with me.

I have to generate UML diagrams and class daigrams by importing my project in to BoUML.

Is there any free trail version to install my local machine to test.

Please let me know and help me out in this.

Hi,

you can do some try using boumlViewer, a viewer usable without license, you can do a C++ reverse using it but it has the following restrictions : no save, no copy/cut/paste in the diagrams, no auto layout in class diagrams, the duplication of a diagram creates an empty diagram, when you close a diagram all the changes are lost, when you close the edition of the body of an operation all the changes are lost, the body of the operations are not set/updated by the reverse/roundtrip, no update from lib.

boumlViewer is part of the distribution, in the case of MacOS X it has its own dmg file, else it is installed when you install Bouml.

In which context do you plan to use Bouml ?

Hi thanks for the reply.

Simply i want to know the relationship between classes and methods and their variables in the form of UML diagrams.

Because we have a project of having lot of files.

So it takes time to study and find out the relationships.

Simply i import and check the UML diagrams.

If I well understand it is a professional context.

Doing a C++ reverse you will obtain a model populated by the classes with their members (relations/attributes/methods), allowing you to easily create the diagrams you want thanks to the facilities offered by Bouml.

Because of the limitations of the viewer the best for you is to buy a single seat license for one host - one year - professional use.
