HTML Doc generator , new option, accented characters, french

Hi
PB: doc generation :
1 - new options : -utf8 -del_html, -del_css do not work : when generating dialog boxes still open
2 - accented characters (éùà...), inside description, are replaced with strange characters
(when inside diagram note, they are well interpreted !!!)
3- how to get the documention in french (use case --> cas d'utilisation, etc.) ?

First of all the context :
ubuntu 16.04
bouml 6.11.2

Bouml
projet C++
environnement : character set UTF-8
options for ghtml : -tag_all -del_html -del_css -utf8

Any idea ?

Hello,

I create a new project, use default character set (this means I don't set it through "set environment"), create a use view and inside an actor named "àctor" and a use case named "ûse câse", shown in a diagram, then I export HTML (here with svg diagrams) answering "no" to the dialog proposing to use UTF8 (so do not use option "-utf8"), finally I open "index-withframe.html" with firefox and you can see accents appear both in text and SVG picture (scroll the picture to see all of it). If I produce UTF8 firefox is not able to manage accented characters

Thank for the answers !
it was working with a project created with previous version of bouml : this seems to be the deal.
with a brand new project, there is no problem !!!!
You are right, if i say yes for utf8, i've got the problem.

If in the environnment I select utf-8 i cannot use accented characters in element name and description : but this is not a problem !

I've noticed that i do need anymore to use -tag to get embedded HTML neither <html> </html> : I'm right ?

what about french translation for generated doc ?

Mitght you give me a "how to do" to get doc generation working fine in french ?
for example
do not set up character set in environnement
answer NO when bouml asks for utf8
do not use -utf8
-tag not useful anymore
-del_html -del_css does not work

etc.

Hello,

yes and no :
  • Whatever the "character set" established through "set environment" you can use accented characters in the description, but of course if you enter some of them then change the "character set" these accented characters will become something else.
  • Whatever the "character set" established through "set environment" you cannot use accented characters in the names (please refer to the last item in http://www.bouml.fr/doc/index_troubleshots.html )

Effectively there are some cases where the -tag option is not taken into account, I will fix that

I see also http://www.bouml.fr/doc/index_htmlgenerator.html is not up to date

The HTML generator plug-out is given as an example, its definition is part of the distribution, you are free to adapt it at your own needs

The options -del_html and -del_css work well.

The release 6.11.3 remove the problem concerning the option tag

The documentation is also updated

Why do you say the options -del_xxx do not work ?
