Hello,

i would like to use BOUML on my gentoo system. I am used to manually compile the software I use. Could you provide the source code for BOUML in an unpackaged, uncompressed format or even host it on https://github.io?

Thanks
Stefan

Hello,

I do not distribute the source as I did before the 5.0 under the GPL

Independently of the Gentoo philosophy based on the fact each user compile the applications he wants (if I am not wrong) I tried in the past to produce the Gentoo package without success. I destructed long time ago my disk and already installed Windows and Linux OS trying to have it in multi boot, I will not try again :? If I remember well there is also problems when just trying to virtualize it because of BSD disk structure requirements but I can try again may be with your help at least if you indicate what Gentoo and CPU kind you use, may be also using a live DVD rather than virtualization etc

Ok. When I read "7.0 BOUML is again a free software" on your website i thought you meant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software.

Thanks for the clarification.

Please do not refer to wikipedia, this is because of some of their moderator I was about to stop all about bouml before to move into a commercial product

So you are not interested if I try to package Bouml for you ?

anyway I did 2 binary packages :
you have to extract them at '/', so cd / ; tar xfz the_path/bouml-7.0-gentoo.the_cpu.tar.gz

after you can launch bouml in a shell or through the menu development

can you do a try please ?
